Commercial Operations Technical Manager

We’re now seeking an experienced technical manager, with knowledge of product development working practices with agile methodologies.

What will you be doing?

  • Leading the technical implementation and helping drive the correct usage of our key commercial technical products.
  • Supporting the Programmatic and Campaign Management team where relevant to aid in the delivery and success of all campaigns.
  • You’ll be the go to person within the business for all technical operational matters for key products including Salesforce, MOAT, DFP etc.
  • Working alongside the relevant product management specialists to help deliver prioritised improvements to our commercial operations.
  • Identifying commercial opportunities for future development based on the current and future media landscape.
  • Prioritising development items that maximise business value.
  • Leading the technical element of any supplier selection process across our commercial product stack.
  • Understanding the current commercial landscape across media by working with peers and suppliers.
  • Helping shape and develop the data driven solutions technology stack to deliver a streamlined experience for internal users and external clients.
  • Working with multiple teams and senior stakeholders to deliver the agreed roadmap.
  • Ensuring all projects are spec’d up correctly to ensure the smooth and continued delivery of new features.
  • Creating a robust business cases which lay out clear, measurable benefits in line with Dennis’ strategic objectives and brand ambitions.
  • Managing the full life cycle of the assigned products
  • Constantly maintaining a pipeline of potential product enhancements which most suitably meet relevant commercial needs and which are prioritised appropriately according to their profitability, ease of implementation and strategic importance.
  • Developing, helping and managing direct line reports in their respected fields.

Who are we looking for?

  • You’re a technical manager with experience in product development working practices with agile methodologies.
  • You have a track record of delivery in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • You’ve got experience of user interface & workflow design for business systems.
  • You have experience of application & system integration working with external partners.
  • You have strong communication & interpersonal skills.
  • You have the ability to work well in a cross functional environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • You have excellent data analysis, presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • You have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet variable deadlines.
  • You have the ability to work autonomously and define own workload.
  • You have knowledge of DFP and 3rd party ad servers.
  • You have knowledge of programmatic stack including RTB in HB context and/or Waterfalling/Passbacks.
  • You have experience working with API’s (SOAP and REST) and requesting, manipulating or sending data.
  • You have experience using Excel / Google Sheets, SQL, Google Analytics, JavaScript, HTML + CSS, Apex, SOQL, XML document creation and processing, database architecture and data types.
