Content Marketing Manager

Strong background in B2B IT and writing? Want a new challenge that is both strategic and hands-on, with the opportunity to transform a fast growing revenue stream?

We’re looking for an experienced Content Marketing Manager to generate valid campaign downloads for our clients. You’ll effectively be creating great content to promote our lead-generation campaigns, from assets such as white papers  provided to us by clients.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll be working closely with Audience Development, Editorial and Campaign Delivery teams to produce and implement a quality, commercially-oriented digital content roadmap that compliments the core editorial product. You’ll also be collaborating with Product/ UX to optimise calls to action and optimise page layout for the generation of leads. (A/B testing where appropriate)
  • You’ll be identifying relevant topics and keywords that fulfill the dual objectives of generating organic search traffic and organic leads. These keywords should be of relevance to a wide variety of clients so that resulting content can be used for different campaigns over time.
  • You’ll be writing/commissioning articles on these topics that encourage social sharing and downloads as well as attracting organic search traffic. Writing thought-provoking, compelling and clickable articles based on technical white papers that can be adapted for future use for different clients.
  • You will construct a robust schedule of promotion and updates on social channels, newsletters, bulletins etc. to ensure that articles receive the widest possible audience.

Why you?

  • You have a strong technical journalism background (B2B preferred) as well as experience within digital marketing and lead generation.
  • You’ll feel right at home working in a high pressured environment, and you have proven experience of working towards KPIs and relevant targets.
  • You have a strong understanding of social marketing techniques (Particularly LinkedIn and Twitter) as well as web analytics (Google Analytics)
  • CMS (Drupal or similar), A/B testing and user behaviour analysis.
  • You have experience with commissioning content from a network of freelancers.

Why us?

At Dennis, we dedicate ourselves to creating brands that people want to work with, and a culture that people want to work in.

  • We’re always thinking of you. You’ll have plenty of great benefits such as 28 days’ holiday, a contributory pension scheme and discounted gym membership.
  • We recognise hard work. After five years with Dennis you’ll earn a 6-week paid sabbatical, to spend as you like. And our Employee of the Year wins a holiday-of-a-lifetime on the Caribbean island of Mustique. And there’s more…
  • We know how to have fun. Whether it’s swatting up for our pub quizzes, creating a costume for our famous fancy dress parties, or taking part in a fitness challenge as part of our annual charity day - we guarantee you’ll enjoy ‘Life at Dennis.’

Dennis does not discriminate in any way. We’re only interested in your skills, your talent and your potential. So, if you feel like this role is for you, please apply now.
