Digital Account Manager - Automotive

As a Digital Account Manager, you’ll be working across our multi award-winning automotive sites including Auto Express, Carbuyer and evo. These brands offer the latest digital and cross-media ad solutions to clients, from standard display to fully integrated content-led native solutions. You’ll be selling the whole portfolio of sites and will have the opportunity to drive creative and cross-media ad solutions.

What will you be doing?

  • You will be selling bespoke advertising solutions and partnerships across the Dennis Automotive pillar’s digital portfolio. This consists of market leading brands such as Auto Express – the PPA Consumer Media Brand of the Year 2016, Carbuyer, Evo and Classic and Performance Car.    
  • You will be selling to top West-End agencies and exceeding monthly and quarterly targets as agreed with a Group Advertising Manager.
  • You will thrive on building a rapport with key agencies and be the go-to person for developing and nurturing excellent agency relationships across your patch, all whilst actively selling standard display, content-led partnerships and audience-based buys.
  • Your creativity will flow when responding to briefs and pitching proactively for business outside of briefs.
  • You will work with management and senior stakeholders across the business to ensure that we are offering the best service to our clients as possible and build a strong internal network to leverage from.
  • You will produce accurate forecasting reports to your line manager and also for your wider team.
  • Being the agency lead for your patch; you will be responsible for driving an agency strategy and being a known and respected contact within the agency.
  • You will always be ahead of your game with a healthy sales pipeline in order to meet targets on time (meetings, conversations, proposals, revenue).

Who are we looking for?

  • You will already be working in digital advertising sales and ideally have a minimum of 2 years digital sales experience.
  • You will have a good understanding of digital media operations and the digital marketplace and will be the go-to person in your current team for this knowledge.
  • You will ideally already have experience selling to West End agencies and established relationships in some key agencies would be advantageous.
  • You will be a natural sales person with a strong track record of winning and developing business.
  • You will have some proven success in writing winning proposals from your current or previous role.
  • You will be confident, and cool, calm and collected when it comes to presentations.
